Senior Marketing Executive

Company Overview: Club Vita is a longevity data analytics company, which facilitates the pooling and statistical analysis of demographic data from defined benefit (DB) pension plans to reveal insights that would not be evident to the plans acting alone. Its three existing clubs have served the needs of plan sponsors and their advisors in the UK since 2008, Canada since 2015 and US since 2019. Club Vita’s innovative team has designed, built and refined ZIP code based socio-economic models for managing longevity risk. These enable plan sponsors not only to tailor their assumptions to reflect their people, but also to develop strategies to actively manage their longevity risk, so longevity is no longer just an actuarial assumption.  Club Vita’s models are used globally by several firms of actuarial advisors and insurance companies participating in the pension risk transfer market. The Role:

An exciting opportunity for an enterprising, self-motivated marketing professional to support Club Vita’s international operations. We are looking for a senior marketing executive with a strong digital skillset to manage and coordinate Club Vita’s marketing function across the US, Canadian and UK markets.

Working collaboratively with the wider Club Vita team, the candidate will have responsibility for implementing Club Vita’s marketing strategy across its geographies, with a strong focus on leveraging digital and social media channels. Opportunities for the right candidate to develop into a more strategic role over time.


  • Collaboration across all geographies in order to strengthen the global Club Vita brand. Work closely with the Club Vita team in the US, UK and Canada to deliver activity relevant to audiences in all geographies, with a focus on digital delivery.
  • Managing all of Club Vita’s marketing systems to ensure an integrated approach: website CMS, CRM system and e-marketing platform.
  • Maintain and develop the prospect database and execute activities to warm the pipeline.
  • Coordinate and host events and webinars,
  • Create and promote content in collaboration with Chief Content Officer (newsletters / blogs / whitepapers), including managing and maximising the use of social media channels.
  • Manage trade body relationships, and conference presentation calendar (from submission of papers to securing speaking roles for Club Vita experts).
  • Suggest and implement improvements to the website, including responsibility for SEO.
  • Assist in the development of primary reporting metrics, report on performance of all marketing activity, including lead generation, website and social media activities.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders / internal designers / external suppliers to ensure deadlines are met and expectations managed.
  • Maintain ongoing knowledge of best practice in digital marketing to ensure we are leveraging the best channels we can to meet our business objectives.

Qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Degree-qualified or equivalent relevant professional qualification or experience.

The Person: 

We are looking for a marketing professional with around 3-5 years’ experience who will be excited by the opportunity to work and help develop a growing company and be part of a dynamic, entrepreneurial team.  This person has a passion for marketing, with a strategic mindset and aptitude for digital.  Also proven marketing knowledge and experience, using a wide range of marketing platforms is required. The preferred candidate will have experience running marketing and specifically digital campaigns they are proud of. Ideally an individual with an understanding of the B2B, financial or professional services sectors. Understanding of insurance or pensions industry desirable but not essential.

This individual must be able and willing to occasionally travel for work, and will be based out of our Hoboken, USA or Toronto, Canada office.

  • Strong interpersonal skills. Persuasive yet diplomatic manner when dealing with all levels of staff, management, suppliers and clients both in writing and face-to-face.  
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to write clearly and concisely.
  • Works to a high standard in the presentation of verbal and written material.
  • Flexible yet consistent in approach to duties.  
  • Self-starter willing to work hard and with a fast-paced team, and eager to contribute. Builds co-operative working relationships within the team.
  • Focus on quality and accuracy, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to get to grips with technical, complex areas and translate into simple marketing messages.
  • Creative and innovative thinker.
  • Outcomes-focused, driven, and able to work on own initiative.
  • Familiarity with the full suite of Microsoft packages.  Experience in using a range of marketing systems including CRM, CMS, and email marketing software is desirable.
